Every word of God proves true. He defends all who come to him for protection.” Proverbs 30:5 (NLT)
“For the word of God is full of living power. It is sharper than the sharpest knife, cutting deep into our innermost thoughts and desires. It exposes us for what we really are.” Hebrews 4:12 (NLT)
What you say and what you don’t match. What do you call that? Hypocrite is the word that comes to most of our minds on that subject, but what the people of God need to see and remember is that God desires us, His people, to be full and over flowing with truth.
When we minister to others and share with others God’s truth, we are giving away what God has given us. Not like a pack rat or selfish person that saves everything for a rainy day or for personal use, this person gives away freely what God has given them. Test what you say. Test what you give. What are my motives? What do I want?
“In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” Matthew 5:16 (NLT)
By giving away what God has given you and me, we do what God has called each of us. I pray that His grace touches us and through us touches and many, many others through us.
“We know that the same God who raised our Lord Jesus will also raise us with Jesus and present us to himself along with you. All of these things are for your benefit. And as God's grace brings more and more people to Christ, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory.” 2 Corinthians 4:14-15 (NLT)
