3-6 By the gates at the entrance to the town, on the road leading in, she cries aloud, "I call to you...use good judgment. You foolish people, show some understanding. Listen to me! For I have important things to tell you... (she says, put on clean underwear and do all the right and important things)
9-11 My words are plain to anyone with understanding, clear to those with knowledge. Choose my instruction rather than silver, and knowledge rather than pure gold. For wisdom is far more valuable than rubies. Nothing you desire can compare with it. (when momma speaks, I have to listen)
14 Common sense and success belong to me. Insight and strength are mine. (just like mom's spit...it can remove rust from a bumper or paint from a wall...she can do anything and is wise)
32-33 And so, my children, listen to me, for all who follow my ways are joyful. Listen to my instruction and be wise. Don't ignore it. ("momma says" and momma gives and momma comforts)
35 For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord. (God's gift to kids is a loving mom who lives to bless her kids)
That is just a small picture of what you might get at The Community Fellowship this Sunday. Parents, we have the obligation, the right and the honor of letting our kids see and know Jesus. That is not easy. I am blessed to have a mom who showed me Jesus.
We must make connections like these momma connections that will leave people changed forever and ever. Life is much more than just what you see...it is the legacy you leave!
