This is going to be a great weekend at The Community as we are going to a new level. You don't want to miss the fun. So, here are some great thoughts, words, insight, praises and much more.
Don't forget that this Sunday is our day to feed the homeless in Roanoke. We leave the church at 1:30pm and return before 7pm.
Last Friday I got an e-mail from Beth at the BB&T near the church. They had a special event going on for customers, and they collected over 50 pairs of shoes. See the picture. They have given the shoes to our clothes closet. Several of those ladies helped us with our back2school event in August. Great work calls for great partners.
new projectors and screens
Take a look at the picture. Better than that, come to The Community on Sunday and experience it for yourself. Our new projectors are up and running. This is gonna be awesome. Thanks to all the people who have helped this happen. Great work calls for great partners.
drummer
Several weeks ago we had a new family become part of The Community. Funny enough, the dude is a drummer. And he is good. This Sunday will be David's first day to take our rhythm to a new level. It has been almost 3 years since we have had a live drummer. David is partnering with us in lots of ways. Great work calls for great partners.
children's cup
This weekend we are hosting Dave and Jean Ohlerking as our special guests. They lead www.childrenscup.org that is seeing the lives of African children change in awesome ways. You will hear some exciting news this Sunday as they share with us how God is bringing a brand new Dream Center to Swaziland. My family has been impacted by these special people through their 40 Days of Prayer with the Children event that was in August and September. Again, great work calls for great partners.
I'm excited about all God is going at The Community as we partner together to demonstrate the love of God to our community and beyond. Because the vision God has given us, we must understand that great work calls for great partners. Thanks for being partners at The Community
