Stay SMALL … Dino Rizzo
Celebrating … 17 years at Healing Place. 25 years in the ministry.
1 Samuel 15:17 KJV --- And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?
Luke 19:17 NLT --- 'Well done, my good servant!' his master replied. 'Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities
Micah 5:2 NLT --- But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, are only a small village among all the people of Judah. Yet a ruler of Israel will come from you, one whose origins are from the distant past.
Matthew 15:34 NLT --- Jesus asked, "How much bread do you have?" They replied, "Seven loaves, and a few small fish."
James 3:4 NLT --- And a small rudder makes a huge ship turn wherever the pilot chooses to go, even though the winds are strong.
Zechariah 4:10 NLT --- Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel's hand." (The seven lamps represent the eyes of the Lord that search all around the world.)
I used to despise my small beginnings. Disrespecting who we were and where we were. This was eating at my soul. Comparison is acid to your soul!
No one likes to feel small. Just about everything God does starts small. Don't despise those things and those places where God has you.
What do we have because someone didn't despise the small? Cars, planes, ARC, Starbucks and so much more…
There will be nothing that didn't small somewhere. Nothing starts big. It starts with a seed or a dream or a pray or idea…
The bigness of what we do is in God almighty. It is not in us.
Stay small. Keep HIM big. Because if you stay small and He is big, then He will anoint you.
I am not against big. But no matter how big we get, remember we are small to what is big. There are no big churches. There is only a big God using churches in big ways. We are all just small churches believing in a really big God.
Until I embrace the small I will not get the bigger blessings.
Let God be big in our lives.
