share your story

1 Corinthians 2:5 NLT
I did this so you would trust not in human wisdom but in the power of God.

God changes lives.  All we can do is follow God.  Let Him lead.  Listen to and follow His voice.  What we will see will point us and others to have more faith in what God alone can and will do.

There is that word again --- FAITH.  We are told in Hebrews 11 that faith is believing the things we cannot see, and we cannot please God without God.  We cannot follow God without faith.  God cannot work in us or through us without faith.  We cannot even see God without the presence of real and active faith in our lives.

This past weekend I was able to be a part of Raceway Ministry work at Martinsville Speedway which is something I love doing.  There were some great conversations about Jesus as I got to interact with fans from all over.  The stories of how God is changing lives are incredible.  I love those stories.  A friend of mine (Matt Knisely) on facebook today said that "stories without storytelling are like facts without faces; they lose their humanity".  That is awesome.

Our faith is validated by our testimony.  By our stories of living and walking with Jesus our faith is seen and heard by others.  Just like the verse I shared above, God is working in the lives of people.  He is more concerned about people than anything else.  Jesus didn't died for buildings and budgets.  He died and tells us to live for people.

Our faith, living faith comes to life as we share the stories of what God is doing in and around our lives.  It is a fact!

This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God's wonderful grace.

The good news is meant to be shared.  As we share the story about Jesus, we must share our story of how we living with Jesus.  Share your story!
