LEADER: Committed to the vision

One of the strange things about being sick is having people pray for me. It is usually people asking me to pray for them as well as me reaching out to others. How humbling it is to know people are praying for my healing. Truly humbled.

This verse is in my reading this morning. As I read it and attempted to wrap my brain and heart around the concept I saw each of you and me. I saw our commitment AND ACTION to the vision God has given.

We must step forward through the gate with confidence. As we step forward we are preparing a way for others. By dealing with our own pain, hurt and issues, we clear the way for more people to walk toward God and find His abundant, peace filled life. The nations, those in trouble, and co-laborers will see, will see God and will be encouraged.

This is awesome...

"Go out through the gates! Prepare the highway for my people to return! Smooth out the road; pull out the boulders; raise a flag for all the nations to see."

I was reading an article from a pastor that was sharing his heart for his church family and impacting his community one person at a time...
