more than before

Right before our eyes this year’s back2school outreach is about to happen.  Last night was our annual volunteer training, and it was more than I expected.  Our event will have over 200 volunteers, and about 80 volunteers will come to the training.  That wasn’t the case this time.  Well over 120 volunteers and many first time volunteers joined us and are preparing for our 7th annual and best event ever.

You see, I expected a great time at our volunteer training, but this was more.  I prayed for more.  God delivered.

Psalm 24:5  NLT
They will receive the Lord’s blessing and have a right relationship with God their savior.

We received the blessing of God as our team grows and is excited to share with others.  Here is the kicker, I am expecting more of the same.  I am expecting for God to do more in the lives of those who are part of our event.

I expect that God will provide the resources for our event.  That is everything from shoes to school supplies to the people who will cut hair.  God is in the business of blowing our minds as we expect Him to do more than before.

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.

We are blessed, and this is the time to share with others what God has done.  It is also the time to believe what God says.

Psalm 40:5  NLT
O Lord my God, you have performed many wonders for us.  Your plans for us are too numerous to list.  You have no equal.  If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.

Declare His goodness.  Watch to see what He’s going to do next.  He is doing more, more than what we have expected, but we are expecting more than before!

Pray for these:
