People often
wonder how to honor God or how to do what pleases Him. I suggest that way too often the people
asking that question aren’t willing to accept the answer that God gives them.
Right in front of us are the answers
we are asking for. God gave us the Bible
with direction, inspiration and His words.
They are intended to bring light in to the dark world we live in as well
as to answer the questions we are asking.
It is at times like this that we need to be reminded to stop and read,
then respond and act.
Then make me truly happy by
agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working
together with one mind and purpose.
We honor God by working well with others. He didn’t save us or leave us here to do our
own thing. Peace comes when we hear from
God and respond with other people according to His purpose.
And this same God who takes
care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been
given to us in Christ Jesus.
Following Him leads to being blessed by Him. We are asking the questions. We really want the answers and desire the
best for those we come in contact with.
Some of those people are tied to us because of family, where we live or
our purpose. Other people come along
side us during the journey.
Keep on asking. Keep on the journey. God is ready and willing to supply what is
needed as well to give significance.
Moved with compassion, Jesus
reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!”
The response, combined with others of life faith, comes down to the
reality of making a difference and showing compassion just like Jesus did while
He was on earth. Jesus was and is
willing to make a difference. The choice
is ours to respond.
And those who are peacemakers
will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.
Plant seeds of peace. Those seeds will go a long way for us and for
others.
I was recently in a conversation
with a group of church planters. The
conversation quickly turned to the topic of people who are “men of peace”. Often these are the people who come along
side you to help open doors of ministry, Gospel and even salvation for those
who are seeking something. God desires
to build up many people to be men or peace and women of peace.
Let God use your influence o bring
others His kind of peace.
Working together for God’s purpose
brings peace to us and to others.
Having God supply our needs brings
large amounts of His peace.
Showing compassion brings the peace
of God to others.
We plant peace by living for Jesus
each us.
