We know what
real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to
give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.
Real love isn’t
what we find in books about romance. It
is not seen in the cultural compromise of what is said to be old
fashioned. Real and unconditional love
is found when we meet Jesus and begin to live differently!
For God loved the world so much that he gave his one
and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have
eternal life.
We began a new series
yesterday at The Community Fellowship.
It is titled LOVE WINS, and we believe, backed up by the Bible and our
testimony, that God loves us and has proven His love time and time again.
God defines
love. Any other definition is wrong.
Our love often is limited and conditional. God’s love is limitless and
unconditional. The world defines loves
as a fleeting feeling. God defines love as
generous favor from God that is keeps on after we have received Jesus as our
Savior.
The Bible gives
us glimpses of God’s love. Our experience with God and in the church has
taught us about love. Take some time to
examine this question: does the love I share with others lead people closer to
or further away from God.
My desire is to
be a door that others open to help them meet God and to experience His
love. There is nothing great that we can
share with the people we meet. God’s
love has changed us and stull changes lives!
See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls
us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to
this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know
him.
God’s love draws
us closer to Him and pushed out of our lives what keeps us from loving or
experiencing His love.
Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels
all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows
that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. We love each other
because he loved us first.
Jesus proved His
loved over and over by sharing with people He encountered the best of God. He brought healing and peace, answers and
love to all that were around Him. By
allowing love to flow through us we not only experience God and help other
experience God, but we prove that we are His people.
Your love for one another will prove to the world
that you are my disciples.
May our lives be
a living and breathing example of God.
Our loving others proves that God is real.
Live a life filled with love, following the example
of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a
pleasing aroma to God.
