Gettin' Ready for Sunday

Community Family and Friends

It is do good to be home and preparing to spend time with my church family this coming Sunday.  I want to first thank everyone who called, sent texts, Facebook messages, emails, brought food, gave hugs, prayed and so much more.  You guys have helped us move through the last several weeks that haven't been easy.  Thank you.

Sunday I will preach a message that God has worked on in my heart.  We will talked about the barriers that keep us from living and fighting for more life.  The largest barrier we will talk about is unforgiveness.  I challenge each of you to bring someone with you to church as the Gospel will be shared and each of us will be asked to take a good look at our hearts, beliefs and our actions.

Please make sure to bring your baby bottle full of change for the Pregnancy Care Center of Martinsville and Henry County.  This is a great fundraiser that will help moms and babies, both those who have been born and those who have not.  Bring these on Sunday morning to church.

Our Halloween family event is one week away.  It will be next Saturday, October 31st from 6 to 9pm in our parking lot at our campus in Collinsville.  CANDY is needed.  Volunteers are needed.  More candy is needed.  Car and people to do trunk-or-treat.  People to prepare hotdogs, popcorn and drinks are needed.  More candy is needed.  Plan to sign up to help during worship on Sunday.  Bring candy this Sunday to church.

Next weekend is also when NASCAR comes to town.  Raceway Ministry volunteers are needed Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Sign up this Sunday, see Lee Hobbs or me, Pastor Michael, to be part of this awesome time of serving people and sharing the love of God.

I love you guys.  I look forward to seeing you on Sunday.  God has blessed us in so many ways as a church family.  Let's celebrate together!

With GOD as my guide,

Pastor Michael Harrison
