Moses
said, “This is the thing
which the Lord has commanded you to do, that the glory of the Lord may
appear to you.”
1
Kings 8:11 NASB
so
that the priests could
not stand to minister because of the cloud,
for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.
Psalm
104:31 NASB
Let the glory of the Lord endure forever; Let the Lord be
glad in His works;
Luke
2:9 NASB
And
an angel of the Lord suddenly
stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone
around them; and they were terribly frightened.
Revelation
4:11 NASB
“Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to
receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of
Your will they existed, and were created.”
Can you recognize the glory of
the Lord? Often we let it pass by.
Very simply I ask that you allow
yourself today to find the glory of the Lord and spend time enjoying it and
even sharing with others. It may be in
the wonder of creation. It can be found
in the profound answer of prayer. Or it
might be found where I found it last night.
That was in the smiles of some
children. I continue to be amazed by the
smiles of the children who come to our back2school program.
The glory of the Lord was all
over them last night. And I am still
enjoying it today!
