Our great, gracious and
almighty God desires to feed us His word.
The scriptures are for our good, for us to feed on Spiritually. That is how we take a new look. What are you eating spiritually?
What we consume says a lot about us. What we consume in every area of life says a
lot about us. It is time to ingest and
begin to digest the word God has blessed us with.
Let’s take a look at the Bible and what God has for us…
Ezekiel 3:1-4 NLT
The
voice said to me, “Son of man, eat what I am giving you—eat this scroll! Then
go and give its message to the people of Israel.” 2 So I opened my mouth, and he fed me the
scroll. 3 “Fill your stomach with this,” he said. And when
I ate it, it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth. 4 Then he said, “Son of man, go to the people of
Israel and give them my messages.
These verses might be from a new portion of the Bible,
but they are not new. The concepts are
things we have talked about and talk about often. We know we are called to life by faith. We are to live out our faith. Are we?
The story here is between God and the prophet
Ezekiel. God told him to eat the book,
take it in and let it become real to you.
After it becomes part of the man, Ezekiel, he was to go to share this
news with others.
God cares about people.
He even cares for those who run from Him or simply avoid what God
says. That is why God led this prophet
as well as you and me to tell others about our experience with God.
Because God changed us He will change others. It is time to be satisfied with the good
things God gives.
John
4:34 NASB
Jesus
said to them, “My food is
to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work.
Psalm
42:1 NASB
As
the deer pants for the water brooks, So my soul pants for You, O
God.
