As the week begins claim some of the promises that the Bible gives us about our great and gracious God. Read on. Take in what hits home with youā¦
Psalm 27:1 NASB
The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread?
Daniel 10:19 NASB
He said, āO man of high esteem, do not be afraid. Peace be with you; take courage and be courageous!ā Now as soon as he spoke to me, I received strength and said, āMay my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.ā
Acts 3:19 NASB
Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;
Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
All of these are from the message that I shared with our church family yesterday at The Community. We are in a series called Questions, and yesterdayās question was āCan I get away from God?ā and from Psalm 139 where David asked and answered this question.
As these verses remind usā¦ God is always with usā¦ God is the one who gives us strengthā¦ God stays with us alwaysā¦ God is ready to refresh us as we return to Himā¦ God reminds us that fear has no place in our lives.
