As the week begins claim some of the promises that the Bible gives us about our great and gracious God. Read on. Take in what hits home with you…
Psalm 27:1 NASB
The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread?
Daniel 10:19 NASB
He said, “O man of high esteem, do not be afraid. Peace be with you; take courage and be courageous!” Now as soon as he spoke to me, I received strength and said, “May my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”
Acts 3:19 NASB
Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;
Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
All of these are from the message that I shared with our church family yesterday at The Community. We are in a series called Questions, and yesterday’s question was “Can I get away from God?” and from Psalm 139 where David asked and answered this question.
As these verses remind us… God is always with us… God is the one who gives us strength… God stays with us always… God is ready to refresh us as we return to Him… God reminds us that fear has no place in our lives.
Take some time. Read these verses again. Apply them today!
