Follow along. Find the connection in these verses. It might shed some light where there has been shade as of late.
Isaiah 43:19 NLT
For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
Joel 2:28 NLT
“Then, after doing all those things, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions.
2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
Colossians 2:12 NLT
For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead.
There are lots of connectors in those verses. Some of them will stick out more than others. Some you might have to dig for or use variant wording.
But what I do know is that our God does incredible things. I draw your attention to just one of the connectors. It might be the strongest for me throughout these verses, and many others. But I hang on to this for our church, our family ad for myself.
God is doing something new.
That is the connector I see first among others. These things He does are only possible through our miraculous and marvelous God.
He promises to do something new that includes making a way where there was none.
He promises to do something new that leads people to dream dreams.
He promises to do something new that changes our lives.
He promises to do something new and makes us new and alive.
Check it out once again and watch how God speaks in to your life. Take this and all that you find in to consideration as you ask God for direction and as you follow His lead. He will change your life. He has mine, and there is more to come.
