I woke with a song on my mind, which happens often.  After a great but busy weekend of ministry I want to just tell you what is on my mind, and it is this…

What a great song, and what a great God we have.  May we see and bring attention to God more and more.

Thank you to all who prayed for Raceway Ministry.  It was a great weekend with lots of Jesus conversations and over 100 people at our worship services.  Our team of volunteers were incredible, hard working and served so many fans.


Now I pray that the conversations and the Gospel takes root in the lives of those who heard and saw.  As the song I shared says, “this is our God… and He loves us.”


Please continue to pray for the upcoming mission trips to West Virginia and Cuba.  Pray especially for the funds and resources needed for the Cuba trip.

inspiration from C.S. Lewis

There are many people, past and present, who get our attention by what they write or say or share.  For me C.S. Lewis is one of those.  He was a prolific writer who continues to grab the attention of thinkers from many different points of view. Lewis first grabbed my attention when I was in 5 th grader, and our teacher, Mrs. Foy, shared The Chronicles of Narnia with our class.  It was a powerful time that this dreamer opened doors to thinking like I had never lived before.  He wrote of faith, of far off places and of strong figures who found their character rooted deep in God. C.S.
