The best part of Christmas is not the lights of the gifts. It really is the person of Christmas, Jesus, and all He has done to us. Think about the change that God has made in your life.
1 John 3:17 NASB
But whoever has the world’s goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?
Thank about it. Self or savior? Giver or taker? We know the truth. God knows our hearts. Reach out to those who are struggling and give each the gift of the example of what God’s love looks likes.
Matthew 2:11 NASB
After coming into the house they saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they fell to the ground and worshiped Him. Then, opening their treasures, they presented to Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
The wise men worshipped, gave and were in awe of God. Are we?
Luke 2:20 NASB
The shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as had been told them.
The shepherds were awe struck. It made them worship. Are we worshipping?
He is the gift of heaven, sent from the Father, revealing authentic glory that can only come from God. Jesus is the gift from God!
Isaiah 9:6 NASB
For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
To us and for us … He is … Wonderful counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace! Christmas is meant to be celebrated. Give and Join in.
