You have probably read this passage before. It comes from David and Psalms. I am reminded of when it came alive to me over 30 years ago, and this passage and these few verses still speak volumes in to my heart and head.
Take some time. Read it a few times. Even pray these verses with this in mind … God is worthy and we are needy.
Psalm 63:1-15 NLT
O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. 2 I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory. 3 Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! 4 I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. 5 You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy.
Here are some take aways from these verses: Search for God. Allow God to satisfy you and He will. Recognize and praise Him for His glory and power. Think about His unending and unfailing love. Praise Him.
That is a great way to start the day. Take in the word. Pray the word. Let God and His word fill and satisfy you!
